After the hartal, the BNP has called a countrywide blockade again from 6 am next Wednesday with a break for a day. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint general secretary of the party, announced this in a virtual press conference on Monday (November 20) afternoon.

According to the announcement, Rizvi called upon everyone to observe the nationwide 48-hour total blockade program on Wednesday and Thursday, 6th phase on 22nd and 23rd November 2023 respectively.

From October 29, BNP and its allies observed 11-day blockade and one-day hartal across the country in five phases.

After that, the party is observing a hartal of 48 hours from 6 am on Sunday (November 19), which will end at 6 am on Tuesday.
